We were chatting with some of the people who are taking a look at the Total Transformation Training, and we let them in on a little secret.
Now we completely understand that’s what brings people into places like ours. After all, a significant part of the developed world is overweight. 30-37 percent, depending on whose statistic you look at.
That’s too much. With all the choices we have available to us, that’s way too much.
And it’s not getting better, even with the movement toward “healthy eating.”
So yes, it’s a problem. And it needs to be fixed.
But that’s our secret…
It’s not a weight loss program.
When we say Total Transformation Training, we mean total.
Physical, mental, and emotional.
And in many cases, spiritual and even financial.
Wellness is a tapestry. When you pull on one part of it, it impacts the whole thing.
If any part of your life is out of balance, you run the risk of having other aspects fall apart.
The good news is that healing in any one part tends to promote confidence.
So someone who drops ten pounds gets enough confidence to ask for a raise.
Someone who puts on a healthy layer of muscle finds the strength to have a difficult conversation with a loved one.
Someone who has more energy during the day gets up the nerve to ask that special someone on a date.
You never know where it’s going to start.
Yeah…it’s a secret.

Jed Kobernusz, our “Personal Trainer To The Stars” did an awesome Movement of the Day video a short while ago. It was the push-up, which is one of the greatest movements in all the fitness.
It’s also one of the most feared.
For many it brings us back to a time when a foul smelling gym teacher stood over us, barking out orders to do them.
Many associate them with shame, inadequacy, even terror.
That’s too bad. Because push-ups can be your best friend.
In fact it may just be the best upper body exercise in the universe!

Though when our minds and hearts are right, those can be great tools in achieving our goals.

Or should I say, “Uneggspected Deliciousness.”
Scrambled eggs are fine for a quick meal.
Putting arugula in them is great! Lots of good phytonutrients.
But sometimes you wanna go with a high note.
Salsa is fine. Chili powder is great too.
But we’ve hit on something awesome!
Among other ingredients: coconut milk, cream, onion, shredded coconut, sugar (close your eyes and pretend you didn’t see that) and lots of awesome Indian spices, including our old pal, curry.
Dress up your eggs with the unexpected.
Do the same with your veggies, or any other food that’s been sticking around a while.
Be smart. Use mostly stuff that adds flavor, not sugar or unhealthy fat.
And use the decadent stuff in moderation.
